Buying Wine

At the end of your tasting, the pourer will most likely ask you is you want to take anything with you. You're tasting list should have prices listed.

A note on club memberships:

If you like A LOT of wine at a particular vineyard, you may want to heck out their wine club. Being a club member comes with perks like discounted pricing on bottles, free tastings, and access to reserve wines. Things like club parties won't be a big draw though if you're not local. The price is usually the price of the wine in your shipment.

Tip: if you're local, save on shipping and pick up your wine.

Taking your wine home

If you're flying, you'll have to check your wine in your suitcase. With weight limits, you're limited to 2 or 3 bottles depending on what else is in your suitcase. You can pick up wine sleeves (poppy paper shaped like wine bottles) anywhere from most wineries to the local CVS. Still overweight? Tell your baggage checker it's CA wine and they might let it slide.

Shipping wine

Shipping your wine is the best option is you're buying more than a few bottles. Just make sure you're sending it to an address where someone 21 or older can sign for it.
