Joseph Swan Vineyards

Joseph Swan Vineyards is an incredible wine tasting experience. We were lucky enough to have the Assistant Winemaker pouring for us and the entire tasting room/barrel room to ourselves. The pinot noirs are terroir-focused, each receiving the same wine making process so the climate and the soil really shine through. Gotta love a place with a poster-sized map and little beakers of gravel on the bar.

Although the pinot noirs are definitely the show stopper, we were intrigued by the Grenache Blancs. They are done in the opposite style of the pinot noirs. The two bottles are crafted with grapes from the same vineyard, but receive an entirely different winemaking process so one comes out a traditional yellow while the other is orange! I can’t wait to taste test these unique wines side-by-side.

This winery is going to become a habit. Good thing the wines are so reasonably priced!
