Pine Ridge Vineyards

Pine Ridge Vineyards is located on the Silverado Trail just east of Yountville in Napa Valley. Originally known for their Stag’s Leap Cabernet Sauvignon they now make several appellation-specific cabs as well as a few blends. All of this history and accolades and I went for the Chenin+Viognier blend. lolz

The estate and staff were both lovely. We took our 4 y/o Westie with us and he was treated like royalty; he was given a cushion to lay on and even his own little bag of noshes.

Although the prepared menu was lovely, we soon found it was just a jumping off point depending on your tastes and what they had open. We got to try the Howell Mountain Cab, which we bought a few bottles of in addition to the classic Stag’s Leap and the sandy Rutherford.

We also got to sample and purchase SEVERAL bottles of the Chenin Blanc + Viognier blend. It was crisp and refreshing with all the floral of a Viognier with the tropical fruits of a Chenin. Perfect for sipping on a hot day or pairing with a salad or fish.
